Conventional Gasoline and Diesel

Oil Drill Gasoline and diesel are both currently used in almost all our transportation today. We have relied on them as long as we have been driving cars, and for a long time they were plentiful and cheap. Now that the possibility of running out of oil is upon us, prices are on the rise, and we need to start thinking about alternatives. This site's goal is to introduce people to the renewable alternatives to gasoline and diesel, which may eventually replace fossil fuels completely.

s Gasoline does have many benefits. One of the most important is that it has been cheap to extract and refine, so naturally it has been used over all possible substitutes. Gasoline engines have been around for a long time, and manufactures have been constantly improving efficiency and performance of them. Continuing using gasoline would be the easiest thing to do, if we had enough of it. Some downsides to gasoline are that it produces a lot of Carbon Dioxide, a greenhouse gas responsible for global warming. Smog is also partly the result of the incomplete burning of gasoline. Gasoline is also toxic and very explosive.
